While completing bounties is not the most strenuous activity, it does seem like a way to encourage buying more Silver. Some may be disappointed to find out that there is still a grind behind the new system. With certain gear tied behind difficult raids or hours of grinding, it is great that players will not have to discard it in the long run. This is especially important since armor can be useless in new seasons and expansions.

Having to pick an ugly piece of armor simply because the armor set is better for PvP may no longer be a problem. This is a system that many Destiny fans will have been waiting years for. Those who complete the Seasonal onboarding quest will automatically get a supply of Synthesis materials to kick off the process. Especially exciting is the switch to making shaders into permanent unlockables, which means Guardians will no longer need spend 25 years deleting individual shader stacks. All the ornaments are available here, and shaders appear in the same screen too. To go along with this update, Bungie is also changing up the appearance screen to be more user friendly. As these missions complete, her Loom will power up and allow a piece to be converted, and players can use Silver to acquire Synthesis materials faster. Typically ornaments come from engrams or saving up Bright Dust for Eververse, but now Guardians can have control. Utilizing armor synthesis will require players to grind bounties from Ada-1. What this will do is take any armor piece in a player's collection and turn it into a universal ornament. Once the option becomes available, Guardians will be able to speak to Ada-1 to begin the 'armor synthesis' function. Not all pieces are created equal, and more often than not fans will have to prioritize mechanics over style. Players can spend hours grinding for endgame armor loot to perfect a Guardian's design. While a large part of the game is tailoring weapons, abilities, and mods, looks are also fairly important. In Season 14 of Destiny 2, players will be able to speak to the Black Armory character to customize the look of their armor. Fashionable Guardians can rejoice because Bungie is bringing back Ada-1 in Destiny 2 for armor transmog.
